Ok so today i thought im bored of using Windows Messenger and decided to download Windows Live Messenger 8. This wouldnt work for reasons i dont know and the same with 7.5. Now im on 7.0 and i can sign in but then it completely freezes and i have to end the task. Can anyone help me? Thanks =]
It would be important to know your windows version.
Did any errors messages come up when you tried to install or use Windows Live Messenger 8?
If not, try uninstalling all versions of MSN Messenger (7, 7.5 ...) or Windows Live Messenger (8, 8.5 ...) and downloading and installing the latest version from
http://messenger.live.com (if you did not get it from there before). The latest version of Windows Live Messenger is 8.5 but you only said version 8 - do you know if it was 8.0 or 8.5 (aka version 2008) that you tried before?

No error messages i would just double click on the icon and nothing would happen

no i tried downloading the latest version but still i double click on the icon and nothing happens.
I seem to be gettin futher using 7.0 then anythin else as when i hover over the little icon in the right hand side of the screen it says "signed in" i think my computer is having trouble opening the page with my contacts and stuff as sometimes it manages to get to the screen where my contacts should be but thats the futhest its gotten.
