Quote:It seemed like Patchou disappeared from the scene a few months ago, but infact has being working on the upcoming Messenger Plus! Live, an entire recode of Messenger Plus! designed for Windows Live Messenger. Today he revealed how he was going to update the legendary chat logging feature which was first made in version 1.00 of Messenger Plus!, 5 years ago. Then the MSN Messenger team decided to do the same but logged the chats as XML files whereas Plus! used plain text. The improved feature now uses XHTML to show the logs in a neat, colourful design, showing all images, handwriting messages, winks, and emoticons.
The new XHTML logging uses CSS to determine the look so everyone can customise the chat logs style to how they want. So we could be expecting chat logs skins maybe? But that is just not it. A key feature in chat logging is encryption, this stops people viewing your chat logs unless they have a password; Patchou has even improved this feature to be more secure.
However Patchou did fear he would not finish the project in time and may have to push some features back to version 4.10, but he said the surprises should make up for it along the way.
This news was released to celebrate for the 10,000,000 users using Messenger Plus! today which was broken this week. I am sure we can expect a lot from the upcoming Messenger Plus! Live.
Well what do you think of this? I love it, it truly is great

WOW!
