I am trying to get the new vista look for MSN live, i downloaded Vista Live Messenger.dll but i dont know where you are supposed to put the dll.

Can anyone assist? :O)
You put the dll in: "C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger" but, you should backup the pervious dll there (like rename it to msgsresbackup.dll) (make sure you close Windows Live Messenger before placing it in the folder).

You download a .dll, such as the Vista Live Messenger.dll barewolf used, and follow the steps chris posted.

And it will not re-install itself just open up Windows Live Messenger again after and it should work fine :)
thats something new for me. does anyone find any problems with the new skin. does it affect how the program operates. does messenger crash unexpectedly. don't want to install new things that don't work.
