While playing hockey tonight, not on ice, but without helmets I got injured. Funny how it happened maybe, scary what it did to my forehead. The result: 1 inch bump sticking out of my head. Anyway, it's down now, ice has helped. I didn't go to the hospital because they'd send me back home after 6 hours of waiting. Anyway, apparently it's a minor concussion. It hurt a lot, heh.

I got the puck directly in the forehead.

Edit: Further news tells me ValSpy also got a concussion earlier today as well.

Sounds bad

The worst that's ever happened to me was a football in the face (twice, it chipped a tooth the first time), a football in the crotch-al area (it hurt - a lot ) and a football pushing my hand back into my arm (not as bad as it sounds but I couldn't move the hand for a while) - I guess I should learn not to play in goal or to play with people who cannot belt the ball at high speeds

I've heard some nasty stories involving head injuring. Remember if it's still hurting make sure you see a doctor .

Not to be a thread stealer but I am feeling fine after my concussion. It seems that lou is feeling better after talking to him on IRC.
