Hey all,
I'm looking to register a domain, but need to think of one, its just going to be used for storage and a simple website for me, I'd like something short/easy to remember, I also want to try and stay away from including my name in it.
Preferred Extensions :
.com
.info
.co.uk
.net
Thanks.
I suggest you go with .info, for the .99c price at godaddy. But anyway:
randomgoodness.extension ?
Give it one of those odd web 2.0 sounding names

.
I got
http://tsatskate.com and put some skate media on it
Hmm, I guess you should look up a word in a thesaurus and maybe you will have some luck.
edit: myinsubstantialwebsite.com is good

How about you drop letters from verbs
Flicker > Flickr
whats the site going to mailey contain? if its something tech like... i would suggest some strange geek domain.. get .eu because the protection... it is also alternative.. instead of www. put chris. so you got http://chris.?????.eu make the domain as unusual as possible so people are intreeged when they see the domain name.. but yet make it easy to remember..
http://chriss.simplecrap.eu so bascily buy simplecrap.eu and set it up as chriss.simplecrap.eu will redirect to simplecrap.eu but also for it to direct from just simplecrap.eu to chris.simplecrap.eu if you get me?? so no matter what you have that URL in the bar but your only buying the 1 domai so you can change the front extrantion to whatever you want or add more

. maybe if you have a few pages like say a page called chat.html make the url look like
http://chat.simplecrap.eu instead of
http://simplecrap.eu/chat.html
obveosily dont use simplecrap.eu i dont think that will go down to well with viewers

The website will be for storing files, testing stuff out, etc. Its not going to be based around any type of subject as such.
