I've just watched VH2's 100 greatest indie anthems and ive been remembered of aload of classics and now im in the mood for more indie, but dont know what to get. Does anyone know of any good indie songs/bands that they recommend?
I'd say my favourite music genre could possibly be classed as indie rock.
Anything in particular you wanting, any sub genre?? What bands were on the VH2 thing, I could possibly recommend similar...

erm bands such as (these made it pretty much to the top ten):
- Radiohead
- Stone Roses/Ian Brown
- the cures
- Happy Mondays
etc etc.. also i dont mind new bands like the Arctic Monkeys that have just realeased their second (i think) single...
ok so my suspicions were correct and it was another dodgy vh2 '100 greatest'...
i've chatted with my mates and non of us thought that was indie (apart from maybe the happy mondays)
