When you have an (image?) attachment and it lets you insert a thumbnail or whatever of it into the post, therefore this is probably a MyBB (and Safari) bug and not a bug of the theme.
As for the other bug maybe try making .menu wider Lou? (sorry I have no time to)
Looks pretty nice. Would like the icons and text on the top-right to be a little smaller though.

You could always use images, they look better too.
And because I know you are all lazy and I am bored I have made the images for you
Just so everyone knows, the theme has now been removed from being default, and everybody was reverted to the old one. Feel free to choose your own theme now.
Please Note: I haven't had any time this week to look into the problems/suggestions for the theme, work will hopefully return on it soon

i have an idea for what a new theme could have
pick a colour in messenger and screenshot it, then copy/paste the icon bar
that'd make a nice color for a header image, etc... it'd be interesting for sure
