So, I got a mac

After months of saving, I took the plunge last weekend and bought a mac mini along with an amazing bean bag from amazon and set about sorting out my room... My new set-up can be seen on this Dropbox Gallery Link! (Man I love Dropbox )

The mac itself is pretty cool to use, I'm still getting used to it, but everything just seems to flow better, and there's lots of (useless) cool things you can do. Last night I bluetooth'd some photos over and discovered you can control the mouse with your phone via bluetooth, lol.

Okay.. I don't really get any errors when I use WLM messenger.. more of a malfunction. Often, my WLM will not respond. At first it would be for like 2 seconds, and then it would return back to normal... But recently.. the not respondings have extended it's duration up to like.. 10 minutes. It's getting really annoying.. and I'm not sure what to do. I've reinstalled a bunch of times. It still happens. Anyone have any ideas?

When I visit, I often find that "new posts" doesn't bring up all the new posts and doesn't allow me to overview recent activity, and Today's posts doesn't cover all the posts I haven't seen if I've been away for a few days.

How about viewing threads sorted by last post, regardless of read or not? I feel this would allow a much better overview of the forum posts and threads.

Folder Password protect problem (Urgent)

i downloaded a folder password protect software's trail verion. it sayed that its a 30 day trial period. now that software expired in 1 day and doesn't allow to use a very important folder in which i had all my projects of courses.i don't nkow what to do. i am even unable to reach to the directory through MS-DOS. how can i recover my files. Please Help !!!

Hi,

When contacts log on I get a notification about this but the notification goes away after a few seconds. Is there any way to make them stick until I "acknowledge them" or at least make them stick for longer time?

How do you remove/delete, the nudge script; It keeps sending nudges.. when i dont do..

/sendnudge, OR.. i click the button..

it randomly sends 3-4 nudges... at a time.. and does it in 3-4 mins or so..

New Forum Theme!

I have just completed the move of the new forum theme for 2010 to match the main website. There are still things that need to be changed (in thread images, index.php images, some minor tweaks, etc.) but all in all the theme is at a very usable stage.

We hope you will enjoy this new theme, but if you don't, at least for now, the old one is still available in the user CP (even though all users have been switched to the new theme).

Please report any errors in this thread .

emotes not showing on other persons messenger

hi right all my custom emotes are saved on my computer but when i send custom 1's to contacts they cannot see them , i have made sure that they have show emotes and custom emotes ticked and i have made sure they all have flash player , active x , java etcetc , we are all on the same messenger

version 9 build 14 blah blah

As I am sure you are aware the forums have been pretty inactive for awhile now and hasn't been updated to the new main site design. I'm happy to announce that there will be updates to the forum in December, hopefully before Christmas. This will include the updated design (to match the main site) and the return of the monthly polls. Expect some other changes and improvements as well.

Windows Live Messenger File transfer problem (extra ordinary)

Greetings all My first post here and yes I do have a really weird problem with WLM file transfer
Also I don't know if any1 EVER had this problem but it's really messing with my head

This is some info if any more info is needed I shall provide
I am using Windows xp SP3 and it's a PC
My friend is on a laptop using Vista

Now before you burn me for using WLM (considering file transfers) I suggest you read my problem..bear in mind I HAVE NEVER had this problem or ever heard of any1 even remotly encountering something like this

So there I was chatting about when I had to send a file to a certain person...I send..and that person says to me...denied or rejected ( can't remember )
It was an exe file...so I said sure ok.. I'll send you a screenshot...a jpg...
And so I send a picture and she says to me.. ''same thing happened''
Her settings are perfectly ok it's not that..
It just so happenes that that person CANNOT receive files from me and ONLY ME... she can receive any type of file from any1 else except me...
My questions are
1. WHAT THE HELL >. 2. is there anyway to fix this??
