If I'm not mistaken then the Samsung SGH-i780 runs Windows Mobile 6. Most of the eBuddy Mobile Messenger downloads are for Java phones so you might be better trying to get hold of the official Microsoft Windows Live for Windows Mobile as that is designed especially for Windows Mobile.
